Dental Assistant
I am proud to say that I have been an LDA with Village and Minneapolis Orthodontics since 2011. My favorite part of assisting Dr. Wahl is improving the self-confidence of patients, as well as their ability to function properly. I fill in as Treatment Coordinator from time to time and thouroughly enjoy any role I am in at the office. Dr. Wahl is such a kind Orthodontist and I am grateful to love my job.
When I am not at the office, you can find me at the local co-ops and farmers markets. I love to cook and bake. Every chance I get to be active outdoors, I take. I adore my family: my husband Matt and our daughters Maizy and Willa and our two cats :)

Patient Coordinator
I've worked in the dental field since I was very young, helping my mom in her office by alphabetizing charts and getting paid in McDonalds. I've worked in many different roles within dentistry over the decades and have built many relationships within the industry. After all this time it feels more like a family than a career. I decided to shift from General Dentistry into Orthodontics and joined Dr. Wahl's team in 2021. What a wonderful group to be a part of! We're a great team and have a lot of fun. I truly enjoy watching our patients go through the process of receiving orthodontia. People of all ages come into our office for that first appointment, a consultation, feeling array of emotions. Some excited, hopeful, some a little nervous or uncertain as to what to expect. When they leave, they're informed, empowered and so many have these transformations in their personal confidence when completing treatment. It makes me so happy for them knowing that they've not only had transformations in their smiles but also in the function of their teeth and their overall health.
I live in the northern suburbs with my four children. When I am not at the office you can often find me downtown on a rooftop or at a music event. The kids and I enjoy spending as much time together as we possibly can, luckily with 2 teenagers we still find a lot of family time. We love to be outside and enjoy everything from visiting sculpture gardens or state parks to drifting power wheels; something my three-year-old has a particular fondness and skill for. I try to bring them to new places and on adventures as often as possible.

I love working with Dr. Wahl because of the staff and patients! I enjoy getting to know patients and their families, as well as the fun work atmosphere. I started in the dental field in 1979, but have been with Village and Minneapolis Orthodontics since 2004. One of my favorite part of orthodontics is seeing the great work of Dr. Wahl, and the happiness a new smile brings to the patients. I also enjoy working with Dr. Wahl because of his hard work and dedication to creating the best smiles.
I grew up in Columbia Heights and have called New Brighton home since 1986. My husband Mark and I have two sons, Tom (Katie) and Nick (Mekayla), a daughter Lacey (Darin), two dogs Roxy and Ryder, and three grandkids: Kallen, Maverick, and Kennedy. I love spending time with my family and am very grateful to hold a tradition of Sunday night dinners in our home with all the kids and grandkids. In my other free time, I enjoy spending time at our Mille Lacs cabin, cooking, and gardening.

Kelsey
Dental Assistant / Professional Relations and Marketing
In addition to assisting Dr. Wahl chairside, I am responsible for professional relations and marketing. I truly love my job and feel thankful every day. I love talking to and learning from each and every patient and parent. They inspire me! I love seeing our patients’ confidence change throughout the process of improving their smiles. On a professional relations side, I thoroughly enjoy the relationships I have developed within the dental community. My favorite part of marketing is how much Dr. Wahl gives back to the community and to be able to be a part of it.
My career at Village and Minneapolis Orthodontics began in May 2002 (my first job after graduating from dental assisting school). It is a privilege to work alongside Dr. Wahl. He is so patient focused: making sure every treatment plan is specific to each individual patient and making them feel comfortable throughout their orthodontic journey. He also goes above and beyond, being board certified and learning about the best treatment options with the most advanced technology.
My family includes my husband Jeremiah, my children Josie and Jase, and two dogs. In my free time, I enjoy playing and coaching hockey, yoga, running, bowling, biking, playing softball, going to the cabin, and being surrounded by family and friends. I also enjoy volunteering my time; I volunteer at my kids’ school, coaching, church, PTA, and wherever I can help.

Dental Assistant
I have been a dental assistant for several years and have always worked in an orthodontic office. I knew right away that I wanted to assist in orthodontics because I truly enjoyed having my braces as a child (which is where my inspiration sparked to become a dental assistant). I’ve been working at Village and Minneapolis Orthodontics for a few years and what a pleasure it has been. I’m so honored to work alongside Dr. Wahl every day and this awesome team we have here. I love being able to assist chairside with Dr. Wahl and see all of our wonderful patients daily. When I’m not assisting in the clinic, I also help with printing our 3D models, which is something I really enjoy. It’s so great to be part of a team that is so caring, passionate, and knowledgeable.
I was born and raised in Blaine, which is where I still reside. I live with my husband Dan and his son Wesley. We have two dogs; a Golden Retriever (Bender) and a Catahoula Leopard Dog (Atari). It’s definitely a full house, to say the least! In my free time, I enjoy touring local breweries, throwing darts, taking my pups to the dog park, and spending quality time with my friends and family.
Marissa
Treatment Coordinator
I have worked alongside Dr. Wahl since graduating from dental assisting school in 2011. My role has developed over the years from assisting to treatment coordinating. I enjoy helping guide our patients from their very first new-patient appointment to their perfect smile. I believe the tailored one-on-one customer service we provide to each and every patient, along with the new technology (intraoral scanners, 3D printers, and digital X-rays) at our office really sets us apart from other orthodontic offices. I truly love being a part of this team and getting to know our patients!
I live in Fridley with my husband Steve, our two sons Calvin & Carter and our dog, Shay. In our free time, we love to travel, complete home projects, play volleyball, and spend time at our cabin in Hackensack!

As the front office manager for Village and Minneapolis Orthodontics, it is my job to oversee the front office operations. I am committed to making our patients and their families experience our office in a positive way. I joined the team in 2014 and have nearly two decades of experience in orthodontics offices. My goal is to incorporate the knowledge and customer service I’ve acquired to equip our team to best serve our patients and their families. I really enjoy being a part of such a great team!

Jenelle
Treatment Coordinator
I have worked in the field of orthodontics since 1999. I have been with Village and Minneapolis Orthodontics since 2022. I greet all our new patients and their families, help them get acquainted with our office, and communicate with referring dentists, physicians, and any other specialists needed during treatment. My favorite thing about working with Dr. Wahl is that he pays very close attention to details, listens, and changes lives one smile at a time. I’m very proud to be a part of this team.

Stacy P.
Dental Assistant
I have always had a passion for orthodontics. As a patient with braces once myself, it is truly gratifying to be able to help others in their experience to perfect their smile. I have been assisting for Dr. Wahl as a team member of the Village and Minneapolis Orthodontics since April 2013. It has been amazing to be a part of such a talented team. As an assistant for the doctor, the most rewarding part is to see the confidence the patients gain when they complete treatment.
I currently live in Oakdale with my husbad David, our three daughters Aisley, Annika and Aiyla and our three cats. I enjoy keeping active with softball, hockey, running around with my girls, and being surrounded by the people I care about the most: my friends and family. My husband and two oldest daughters compete in ski jumping :)
Sue
Dental Assistant
I love the people I work with and being able to see our patients on a monthly basis so I can really get to know them. I’ve gotten to know so many people as I assist during their appointments. I have worked in the field of dentistry since 1987 and have been with Village and Minneapolis Orthodontics since June 1987. The best thing about orthodontics is helping patients with their self-esteem and seeing them grow into their new smiles. I love the wonderful family atmosphere here at Village and Minneapolis Orthodontics, too!
I grew up in New Brighton but have lived in Fridley since 2009 with my dogs, Chico and Princess. I got married to Myron in the fall of 2013 and I love being married. Myron has introduced me to snowmobiling, which is one of my favorite hobbies nowadays. We do a lot of volunteering and fundraising for the ALS Blackwoods Blizzard Tour each year.
